The 2021 Fair will take place in the « Grand Palais Éphémère ». This temporary structure of 10,000 square meters designed by the architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte and organized by GL Events, will accommodate prestigious cultural events while the Grand Palais itself is undergoing renovation work. This structure is currently being installed on the Champ-de-Mars where it will open early in 2021. Events will be held there until the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2024.
Between the École Militaire and the Eiffel Tower, the Temporary Grand Palais will feature the same curved lines as the Nave of the Grand Palais.
